Therapy or counselling, on the other hand, tends to focus on the past and how it impacts your present. It’s more about healing and understanding those experiences. If I ever feel therapy would be more beneficial for you, I’ll share my thoughts and encourage you to get the support you need.
Every session is personalized to you. We’ll dive into practical strategies and exercises tailored to your goals and needs. Coaching isn’t about quick fixes or rigid plans—it’s about equipping you with tools and insights to keep moving forward, no matter where you are in your journey.
The first step is easy—just reach out! We’ll set up a free 30-minute phone or Zoom chat to talk about your needs and goals. This gives us a chance to see if we’re a good fit and for you to ask any questions you have. Coaching is a partnership, and this initial conversation helps us test the connection.
Once we’re both on board, I’ll send you a coaching agreement and a questionnaire to complete. The questionnaire is designed to help you clarify what you want from our sessions and begin reflecting on your goals. We’ll then have a ‘discovery’ session to design how we’ll work together. This is where we’ll map out your vision, your priorities, and how I can best support you.
Our sessions are typically held remotely via Zoom or phone for flexibility. Sessions last one hour and are scheduled every two weeks unless otherwise agreed. For specific programs we may have different arrangements, but I’ll always confirm the details with you upfront.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a session. Life happens, and I aim to be flexible, but late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
